Blind Rivet Nuts
These are one-piece internally threaded and counterbored tubular rivet that can be anchored entirely from one side. There are two types: one is designed to form a bulge on the back side of the panel as a screw is tightened in its threads. Rivet Nut Installation Tooling
The FLEX-5 Series features 5,000 pounds (22 kN) of pulling force and 7 mm (0.276 in) of available stroke. The tool is capable of installing rivet nuts from M3 to M10 and #6-32 to 3/8-24 & rivet nut studs fromM5 to M8 and #10-24 to 5/16-24. The tool is based on an innovative modular design that offers the flexibility of both pull to pressure and pull to stroke installation methods allowing the proper method to be used based on the application requirements. The FLEX-5 Series has the ability to be upgraded to different levels of process monitoring and also offers upgrades such as conversion to an in-line tool and conversion to a split tool with a remote booster. It features a single stage trigger, automatic reverse with manual reverse bypass and socket head cap screw mandrel. |
